Currently all PLAY-off, On The Horizon, or celebrity fundraising concerts are captured with high quality audio and multi-camera video production.
In the future, this content will be live streamed as pay-per-view events, and later hosted on the TMP on-line channel, with the addition content made in partnerships with our celebrity and industry professional friends.
We are actively pursuing university partnerships to provide student interns for Los Angeles-based video production, while campus-bound students remotely control our local robotic cameras and perform post production services.
TMP has over 15 manufacturing partners supplying us with free or heavily discounted products. In return, they receive the promotional value from being associated with our movement, and having their products exposed to and in the hands of youth, their future market.
A very special thanks to our friends at:
The Music Path has a different approach! Unlike many non-profits, designed into our model are many possibilities for earned and sustainable income. With our platform, we can enable, and leverage through video, the benevolent efforts of so many who share our passion for the creative process and performance of Contemporary Music.
We seek foundations for initial funding of the technical infrastructure, ongoing administration and operations necessary to implement and maintain our vision. A cloud-based accounting system can provide donors up-to-date tracking of every dollar spent, results accomplished, and ongoing needs. . . Here are some other ways to help:
Anyone who’s ever played in a band or ensemble, rock to classical, “gets it” – the sense of camaraderie and self-esteem it brings is priceless!
Like celebrities, successful entertainment industry professionals (Producers, Mixers, Cameramen, Editors, etc.) also want to “give back” and support young artists who share their musical passion.
Other than producing tutorials or workshops, their high school experiences and personal or anecdotal stories while on their music paths, are also important and need to be told. What better or more valuable way for them to give back!
TMP encourages and promotes emerging artists and PLAY-off graduates who share our philosophy with programs like On The Horizon and Virtual Venu.
From this passionate community, we also recruit individuals to facilitate student sessions and provide technical support and administration for the PLAY-off program, and represent us as ambassadors for our Musikaction workshops. These young artists bring incredibly inspiring enthusiasm and real-world “gigging” experience to our students!
Most celebrities want to support younger artists who share their passion for music, and many are eager to “give back” as they can.
TMP gives them the important opportunity to (1) connect and interact directly with young artists in a supportive, structured and non-invasive way and (2) help generate sustainable TMP funding, through partnerships that contribute exclusive original video content to our proprietary library.
TMP captures or streams concerts or in-studio performances, offering far greater artistic freedom than typically available for commercial release. These partners can also produce tutorials, mini-docs, or interviews revealing their personal music path stories, anecdotes and high school experiences.
Free for public high schools, the PLAY-off program provides students the on-campus creative space to form bands that prepare for showcases and an end-of-year competitive concert (Battle of the Bands).
After scaling out a number of schools, we plan to begin Inter-school Competitions for Contemporary Music, not unlike those commonly held for Marching Bands and Choirs, etc.
This groundbreaking after school program, created with Robby Krieger of The Doors, provides high school students the opportunity to form bands and choose their favorite music to rehearse and perform in this end-of-year competition. Unlike many extra curricular programs, it is free and almost entirely student driven!
The Music Path provides the an on-campus rehearsal studio, with facilitators (actual performing artists) to provide technical support, inspiration and guidance as needed. Students learn to collaborate and coordinate school / practice / life balance, while playing the music they’re most passionate about!
Video content can be accessed on the TMP site in either a familiar searchable gallery style as used on YouTube etc., and/or on an individualized page in our Virtual Venu, whichever is applicable or desired by the contents owner. For TMP owned content, such as the live performances from our programs or the exclusive original content made through partnerships, access will be available as commercial-free with membership, as pay-per-view, or free with advertising.
Through TMP’s partnership with William Penn University in Oskaloosa Iowa, visiting student interns will provide Los Angeles-based video production, while campus-bound students remotely control our local robotic cameras and perform post production services.
